I know I said I wasn’t doing any more traveling until after the launch of Firepow buuut, extraneous circumstances arose, adjustments needed to be made and well…
Long story short I’ll be heading to Canada as of the first week of March 
I have to say I’m SO excited as everything I’ve seen and heard is leading me to believe that I am going to LOVE the place!
Along with a friend, we’ll be doing some snowboarding for a few days, visiting some of the national parks like Banff and Jasper, driving through the Canadian Rockies, going to the world’s biggest shopping mall in Edmonton, meeting up with a few cool marketers…
Oh, and of course, freezing my *&^% off!
In fact it’ll be the first holiday where shorts and thongs (flip flops for you Yanks) won’t be in my suitcase! And considering the coldest temperature I’ve experienced was a measly 5 degrees C (about the average temperature in Vancouver this time of year so I’ve read) I’d say I’m in for an interesting time
Anyway, if you live around Vancouver, Calgary, or Winnipeg (heading out that way too) give me a shout and perhaps we’ll catch up for lunch or a coffee!
I’m looking forward to getting some great photos too, particularly of some of the spectacular scenery that I’ve heard of! I’ll be sure to post em here.

It’s already spring here in Vancouver. The crocuses are coming up, and the only snow to be seen is on the nearby ski hills.

The crocus is a small, Canadian marsupial wolf. They hibernate all winter and then start coming up out of their underground burrows after the snow has melted.
