I felt an intense sense of pride today when I came across what I can only describe as the most complete and consummate example of the power of NMOC style marketing that I’ve ever seen.

What you’ll find there is a simple wordpress blog dedicated to the promotion of Hostgator. It is regularly updated with relevant information, provides quality content in the form of current coupon codes and service status graphs, and much more.
Not only that but it’s beautifully optimized, is targetting all keyphrases related to Hostgator that are being searched, and the guy has undertaken a serious link building campaign.
Just when I thought I couldn’t be any prouder…
I scrolled his sidebar and found that this guy has a freakin NMOC site on EVERY hosting company you can imagine – more than 20 it looks like – AND they’re all linked together!
If you want my idea of great niche marketing, you can look no further.
Look at these sites, study them, learn from them, COPY them!

That’s one of the things I really like about you Andrew. You’re very open and helpful about all of this. Most of the self-proclaimed “gurus” out there are nothing more than money-grubbers. Trying to get *anything* out of them will cost you (even if the info is not worth anything).
You, on the other hand, do a great job of creating long-term relationships with your “clients”. I count you among maybe a half-dozen experts I actually trust.

So in essence he can be earning good money from affiliate marketing with just hosting companies. Now imagine if he did that also with other industries that standardly use affiliate marketing. I will have to think about that.
