I logged into an old Shareasale.com account last night and was greeted with quite a nice surprise…
Turns out that a site I made a long time ago, probably more than a year – from BEFORE I wrote NMOC, had been continually generating cash.
My settings were on direct bank deposit so I hadn’t even noticed the money going in, but this tiny site that I hadn’t touched for a year, had been generating around $200 a month!
A strictly NMOC site, just like the one in the example in the NMOC report, I literally haven’t touched it in a year, no new content, no new links, nothing.
It can’t even be found in a good position in the SE rankings!
Interestingly, a blogger blog I made to link to this blog, WAS on the front page, presumably sending through the only traffic the site would be getting.
It provides some interesting lessons, namely:
1. Passive income rocks.
2. Don’t give up on those old sites of yours!

How true that is. I remembered writing an article about a year back on an obscure niche and up till today, it is still driving traffic and sales for me.
