I felt like I had to write this as a counterweight to my latest post on the evil’s of the IM industry:
If you’ve been reading my stuff for any period of time, you’ll know I’m the first to admit that there are so many things about our industry, the game we play, this make money online biz, that by their very nature, contribute to people’s failure.
There are things out of our control that have an effect on our likelihood for success at being able to make money from home and generate passive income.
However…
And this is probably going to hurt some people’s feelings…
There is also a temptation to think that these factors, those that are out of our control, are the REASON for our lack of success rather than a mere “contributing” factor.
Sure, incessant product launches suck, the way we are always conned into changing our focus sucks, but at the end of the day, WE buy the product launches, WE change our focus and WE determine our own level of success or failure, period.
In other words, if…
YOU’VE tried 20 different methods and nothing worked…
Or…
YOU’VE been doing this for 8 years and still haven’t made any money…
The problem might just be that which is common to both of those statements…
YOU!!
And you know what?
That is GREAT NEWS!!
You know why?
Because when you finally acknowledge that it’s YOU doing something
wrong… that YOUR actions resulted in YOUR situation…
You take complete control over your success or failure and you
gain the power to change it if you want to!
And since we’re on the subject: in fact it’s not YOU that’s wrong, it’s never YOU.
It’s just the way you’ve gone about things, your practices, your methodology.
There are certain ways of pursuing ANY method of making money online that are MORE likely to result in success, and there are certain ways that are LESS likely to result in success.
For example, changing your approach every week is LESS likely to create success and sticking to the same method and investing yourself into it is MORE likely to result in success.
So let’s hate on the industry all we want… let’s honestly seek change, and openly spread
the word about that which prevents people from success at making money online…
But all the while looking inward and being responsible for the results we’re creating.
This way, we have the best of both worlds

Yes, I always make it a point to tell myself if something doesn’t work out the way I want, it’s my fault. I don’t want to blame others as this means it’s out of my control and I can use it as an excuse to blame for my failure.
I acknowledge it’s my “fault” so that I have control over my actions spur myself to do it right the next time.
In fact, I hanged on to internet mlm for 1 year, didn’t make any money, feels that it’s not the right path as I don’t enjoy doing it and switch to niche marketing.
Into niche marketing for 1.5 years before I became a full time marketer. Yes, I learn from you.
Thanks.
“Hi, I’m Wally, and I’m an Oppor-holic”.
(Crowd) “Hi, Wally!”
Well, at least I know that much about myself, which gives me an edge when dealing with the opportunity hucksters. “Know thyself”.
It’s not easy to find a suitable spot under the virtual sun but I always make sure to remind myself that my failures are nobody’s fault but mine. In the long run, owning responsibility makes me feel so much better…
Committing a mistakes was just part of our life.Learning from our fault, we can do something much better that may fulfill the wrongness we do from the past. Keep the faith with your love ones and they will guide you a fruitful satisfaction.
Hello to you,
we should change our way of thinking: inspite of thinking of “fault”, which really doesn’t exist, let’s think: To achieve my goal, I have to go along a path. When I do not arrive at my goal, means, it was the wrong path. So, until I do not arrive where I want to be, I have to understand that I’m only on my way to eliminate all these paths which arrive somewhere. When I have eliminated all this deviations, I will arrive where I want to be. No doubt about it. Sometimes may be it takes a while….
