Lu, there are many ways to find offers that already convert. One of the simplest is to go to affiliate networks like clickbank or commission junction who offer statistics and data that help you make a decision about what product to promote. If the affiliate programs you wish to promote are not part of those networks, you can simply ask the product owner how their conversion rates are, or how their product sales page converts.
If a product page converts at 3%, then you can assume that out of 100 targeted visitors you send to that page, you can expect an average of 3 that convert. All these facts the product owner would usually have, if they have been properly testing and tracking traffic (through different means it is generated) and conversion.
