I just read a fascinating statistic…
According to William at Search Engine Watch:
“At last check, 30 percent of all search engine queries… contained a zip code, city name, or state. ”
30% of all search queries…
I think that’s pretty staggering!
It means, amongst many things, that 30% of search queries are people looking for something that’s NOT online.
What does this mean for us.
It too means many things. For example…
There is great opportunity in connecting offline business with prospects that are looking for what they sell online…
is one that springs to my mind. Otherwise I’ll leave you free to draw your own conclusions…
I hate to distract anyone’s focus but if nothing else, let it be food for thought.
The article itself is a great one actually and I encouraging you to read it at the search engine watch link above.

That’s a really interesting stat, Andrew. If you could find the top city searched for offline business then maybe you could pretty easily rule that search term.
