When you teach how to make money online to people from all walks of life, it’s difficult not to start seeing patterns in people’s behaviour, patterns in their approaches and to notice how those patterns affect the results they get.
I’m not the kind of guy who says “just believe it, and it’ll happen!”…
I don’t particularly like “the secret” or the idea of the “law of attraction” (in fact, ask me some day about my take on that, I think you’ll find it interesting)…
But I do believe that what YOU believe affects how you act, and how you act affects what you accomplish.
This video has been passed around like crazy already but I thought it was really worth sharing here for you…
It’s one of my earliest old time fav’s Tony Robbins talking to Frank Kern and John Reese, amongst other things about the subject of what makes the difference in people who “break through” in their online business and those who keep spinning their wheels.
It’s a little cheesy in parts, but in particular, pay attention to when Tony talks about the “4 Squares” chart about half way in…

Love to hear what you think (if ya haven’t seen it already!)

Somehow the video keep cutting me off during the half-way mark. But I managed to listen until the 4 squares.
Although many newbies think there is potential in making money online, they don’t wholly believe in it. It’s simply because they have yet to see a single cent.
I suffered the same thinking when I was first starting out. But I told myself repeatedly: “What have I got to lose?” At most a few hundreds dollars. (If you can’t even fork out few hundreds, get a job first!)
So, I took action. Finally I saw my 1st dollar. This reinforce my belief that I can make money online. With this enhanced belief, I took more action and made my 1st $100. Again, my belief increased again. If I can make $100, I can make $1000 online. And I made it.
So, I can understand that newbies, their beliefs may not be so strong initially. Just get your butts off and take SOME actions. You have nothing to lose! After that, start off from there.
Thanks for posting this Andrew, I’m not on many lists so I haven’t seen this until now. I was never much of a Tony Robbins fan, but I like where he’s going these days and can relate to those moments when things go they way you envisioned them. It’s just awesome to see others get that same feeling – makes you feel connected.
I know many of the tactics in the online marketing game by now and it’s great to see you and others in our industry starting to talk about the intangible elements that people must tap in order to make it, in this, or any business.
Powerful stuff amigo!
