Yes, I’d known of Google Suggest for a few years now, and often wondered about the significance of the suggestions. Thanks for putting this video up an answering one of the questions I had in the back of my mind.

  2. Hey Andrew, I love google suggest it throws up some great search terms, really does help lots, google rock! Sally :)

  3. Hi Andrew,

    Very interesting video – thanks.

I am off to try this out pronto.

    Regards

    Jonathan Lake

  4. Hey Andrew,

    Thanks Andrew interesting and helpful.

  6. Hi Andrew,

I don’t usually take notice of the google suggest, but your video has given me second thoughts.

You have even test it out and have good results.

Thank you for sharing and will definitely try it out on my next niche keyword research.

  7. Awesome information as always Andrew. I think I have a new keyword tool. hehehe. This will produce more results with general terms and product names but with a little creativity we can come up with more keyword ideas. Thanks Andrew.

  8. Thanks for the video, Andrew. I read very few of the emails I get from marketers anymore as I just don’t find them helpful. But I honestly can say that I find most every post of yours to contain something helpful. There are a couple that really have stuck in my mind, namely your posts on the shovel/dirt and the 3 doors (not that those have anything to do with this). So back to the subject at hand, really enjoyed the video and happy to add this to my list of things to do when researching a niche for keywords. Thanks!

  9. Google suggest is a good place to collect seed keywords to pop into Market samurai to generate a master keyword list.

You can do the same with the Wonder wheel and Related searches – scoop up all these ideas and feed them in to your keyword tool.

    :-)

  10. Excellent tip and explanation on something I’ve been wondering about myself… Thanks a bunch!! :)

  11. Hi Andrew,

Thanks very much for the good info. I’ve never paid much attention to it before except to think it was pretty much a nuisance when I wanted to find something! LOL…I’ve just had a “Duhhhhh” moment

  12. I had never known that before about keyword suggest thanks for the information

  13. However, when I type into my Google search the ‘suggest’ does not include ANY of the alternative keywords that yours showed for Firepow. I am in New Zealand and I get different suggestions if I am logging on via the Google NZ site, or the Google USA site – but neither of them have a suggestion other than simply “firepow” which I already typed. All the other suggestions are based on firepowER derivitaves, not firepow.

This suggests that the search suggestions are based on local searches only. But how local? Who knows?

  14. Thanks Andrew,
I had been noticing that but it had not clicked with me that this might be the case. I think there may be some value in the related searches and wonder wheel options as well to pick up some theme keywords to enhance the site as well as keywords that are not showing in the keyword tool.
The ever changing evolution of google…

    Cheers
    Steve.
PS I was doing some work on a miss spelling keyword yesterday and noticed that Google automatically returned me results on 2 entirely different miss spelt keywords BUT as the correct spelling – It may be that over time these little gems will be less relevant.

  15. I feel such a doofus! Of course I saw the Google suggest keywords, but never thought of using them as keywords in their own right. Talk about something staring at you in the face! Thanks for opening my eyes to another opportunity.

  16. Hey Andrew,

Really appreciate the video. Looks like a great way to target low competition keywords.
    I gotta check it out.

  17. Thank you Andrew, Yeah I think that is a cool way to generate more traffic and its not the first time I’ve heard that so good to hear it again.

  18. Hi Andrew,

Nice video. I’ve known Google suggest for some time now, but didn’t realize the significance of those keywords that show up. As you mentioned, I thought that the fact these keywords do not show up in the Google adwords keyword tool implies that they are so rarely searched that Google decided not to include it here.

    I’ll be testing this.

    Thanks again!

  19. Great Video Excellent Content !!!! Tips Are Brilliant Thanks!!!!

  20. Andrew thanks a lot for sharing this excellent post.

Am following your P&P program to the T, wish me luck!

  21. Very interesting indeed Andrew. I’ve used search suggest to find additional keywords now and then but really not put that much effort into it. Thanks for bringing up the good result you got. Need to try it out more myself.

  22. Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing. I’m looking forward to trying this new tip out. Appreciate it Andrew.

  23. Hey Andrew,
What you’re saying in this video makes sense. I was wondering about the same thing too, only I didn’t find the answer. Well you did! Anyway, as you might remember, I’m also going thru PnP – some parts I enjoy, some parts struggling – not executing as fast as the recommended 14 days though. Article marketing IS tedious & don’t ask me why I choose to do it.
Oh yes, can I share this video in my blog ?

  24. andrew – i have seen this before and gave a thought like u gave abt these keywords.
but the concering point is traffic — how much are the search vol on this., rightly said- its always abt testing and you never know when you hit a goldmine like u did and without competition. worth trying. also these keywords if are suggested by users can be combine for ppc advertising -= and ithink they might not have competition either. worth giving a try.

  25. Thanks Andrew, that was a really good tip on finding ‘hidden’ keywords, I’m going to try it out now.
    cheers Brendan
