There are two article directories that you don’t hear about much but that are very worthy of your examination.
They are…
1. AssociatedContent.com – This is seeming to me to be becoming a more and more trusted article directory. I see articles in there popping up for search terms in high spots all the time, often in front of other directories that are more popular. Not only that but you might have heard of this directory being the one that pays you for certain article submissions, and also for certain circumstances monthly for having submitted unique content. Don’t count on it being a steady source of income or anything but if you’re using it anyway, it can be a nice bonus.
2. Ehow.com – this site is actually ranked like 2000 ish in Alexa, almost 7000 spots higher than the popular Goarticles.com. It’s a nice high traffic directory. You can go straight to the how to section and submit your articles.
That’s my hot tip for the day. Feel free to contribute with any other cool article directories that you’ve been using with success.

Buzzle.com is great too.
I have submitted many articles to several directories for my niche sites and often is it is ranked higher in search engines. Beating EzineArticles too.
One problem though. It took freaking long for the editors to approved your articles and you can only submit at most 2 articles at once.
It used to be that AssociatedContent only accept / pay US residents. Which was why some–like me–didn’t bother with it.
I just went checking. Now they accept and pay everyone. But they only pay non-US residents what that they call “performance payments,” basically a form of pay-per-view.
These are great and I’m surprised I’m not using them-I’ve written a book on Article Marketing!
Thanks Andrew!
